Tanya Capello, MAIA, ASID Allied Member, IFDA Member

Our pasts can often shape our futures, and this has been the case for Tanya Baker Capello. Tanya is a first generation American, born to British parents who migrated to New York City in the late 1960’s from London. The youngest of three girls, Tanya grew up the "American born" daughter in a family that was built from English sensibilities. Tanya received an early creative education, as both of her parents worked in artistic fields, immersing themselves and their daughters into art, fashion, music and travel.

As a young mother, Tanya moved to Holland for several years, where her second son was born. During this time Tanya toured the great Dutch museums and European antique markets with her baby stroller in tow while realizing her true passion for artful design. Upon returning to the United States, Tanya opened Capello Design in 2001 where she could meld her interest in home architecture and European influenced design.

Tanya received her Master of Art Degree in Interior Architecture from The New England School of Art & Design (NESAD) at Suffolk University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University.

Associate Designer

Renata Jimenez joined Capello Design as full time associate designer in 2021. Renata graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from Suffolk University. Renata helps to manage both studio customers and design clients. Renata excels at space planning, and drafting with a detailed eye. She communicates with vendors obtaining pricing, product availability and lead times.

Project Manager

Carin Conye joined Capello Design in 2011. She is responsible for client communication with regard to proposals, invoices and timing. She assists in supporting communication relating to vendor pricing, product availability, checking lead times and order entry. Carin also schedules workroom appointments and product deliveries for clients. Carin completed her Master’s degree from Boston College.
